Hohe Wand Tour 2008

Hier mein erster Eintrag – die Aufnahmen entstanden am 19.07.2008

Wie üblich hier die Google Karte – dieses mal sehenswerter, da es von diesem Gebiet brauchbare Satellitenfotos gibt 🙂

Und ein paar Infos:

Die Hohe Wand befindet sich in Niederösterreich – es ist eine Art Hochplateau und am höchsten Punkt 1.132m hoch.

Das geniale an diesem Ausflugsziel ist – wie der Name schon sagt – seine Felswand. Diese ist extrem steil – meist 90° abwärts (wie eine Wand eben)… daher ist es auch eine sehr beliebte Kletter-Gegend

Die Hohe Wand eignet sich auch wunderbar zum Paragleiten und Drachenfliegen – dementsprechend viel los ist am Himmel.

Der Ausblick ist ein Traum, wenn auch nicht ganz ungefährlich – ein falscher Schritt und man ist unten – und das war dann der letzte Schritt… dementsprechend viele „Opfer“ hat die Wand schon hervor gebracht.

Die Wand kann man gemütlich mittels Mautstraße erreichen und fährt direkt hinauf auf eine der vielen Parkplätze. Oben gibt es genug Hütten und Hotels/Gasthöfe, die zum einkehren einladen. Weiters gibt es tolle Attraktionen wie den Skywalk, das Wildgehege und diverse Aussichtsplattformen. Sogar ein Bergmuseum gibt es dort (Gratis Eintritt, da Maut bereits bezahlt)

Selbst innerhalb eines Tages kann man nicht alles sehen – die Investition lohnt sich also (pro (erwachsener) Person: 1,50 – pro PKW: 1,50)
2 Erwachsene zahlen also mit einem PKW 4,50€ – das ist fair für das, was man dafür geboten bekommt
